Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the StuTem Labs website at stutem.com, the StuTem Labs Android, iOS and web applications, and the live classes, mentorship packages, course lessons and robotics kits offered through them (together, the "Services"). StuTem Labs is a brand of STUTEM TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED ("we", "our", "us"), which operates the Services. By creating an account, booking a class or package, or buying a kit, you agree to these Terms. If you teach on StuTem, Section 7 also applies to you.

1. Who Can Use the Services

• The Services are designed for learners aged 10 years and above.
• A learner under 18 must use the Services with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian. The parent or guardian is responsible for bookings and payments made on the learner's behalf.
• You must give accurate account, contact and delivery details and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account.

2. Our Services

• Live mentoring: online one-to-one classes, online group packages, and in-person home packages taught by mentors at scheduled times.
• Course lessons: course topics and learning content available in the app to signed-in learners.
• Robotics kits: physical hardware kits, including pre-configured microcontroller boards, used with kit activities in a course.

Some courses, packages and kits are offered by independent mentors through the StuTem Labs platform. Independent mentors set the content and price of their own offerings and may ship their own kits. StuTem Labs processes the payment and handles refunds and disputes for all orders.

3. Bookings and Scheduling

• A booking is confirmed only after payment succeeds and the booking is shown as confirmed in the app.
• Class times are shown in the app. Please join on time; a class you miss is not refunded unless it is cancelled under our Cancellation and Refund Policy is not refunded.
• A mentor may occasionally need to reschedule a class. Schedule changes are reviewed by StuTem Labs, and you are notified of them. If a mentor or StuTem Labs cancels your booking, you receive a full refund.

4. Prices and Payments

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). The total shown at checkout is the amount you pay; there is no separate shipping charge.
• Payments are processed by our payment partner. We do not store your card, UPI or bank details.
• A platform fee, included in the price you see, is retained by StuTem Labs on each booking. How it affects refunds is set out in our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

5. Kits and Hardware Safety

• Kits contain electronic parts and small components. Learners under 14 should use them under adult supervision.
• Use only the provided USB cable or battery pack, follow the wiring shown in each activity, and do not expose kits to water or heat.
• A kit board is linked to the learner who sets it up for a course. Shipping, replacements and returns are covered in our Shipping and Exchange Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including by harassing mentors or other learners, recording or redistributing live classes or course content without permission, sharing your account, interfering with the apps, the firmware or our servers, or using the Services for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

7. Teaching on StuTem (Mentors)

• To teach, you must complete a mentor profile, including the documents we ask for. StuTem reviews your profile, your courses and your class packages before learners see them, and may ask for changes or decline them.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the course content you publish and for holding the classes you offer at their scheduled times. Schedule changes to a booked package are reviewed by StuTem and notified to learners.
• If you sell your own kit, you set its price and are responsible for shipping it to the delivery areas you cover and for adding its shipping and delivery details in the app.
• Learners pay StuTem. StuTem keeps the platform fee shown in the app and pays your share to the payment details you save, once the classes are completed. If a learner cancels with a cancellation charge, you receive your share of that charge. If you cancel a booking, the learner is refunded in full and your earning for it is reversed.
• You keep ownership of the course content you create and give StuTem a licence to host, display and deliver it to learners on the platform.

8. Intellectual Property

Course content, lesson material, firmware, software, the StuTem Labs name and logo, and other materials in the Services belong to StuTem Labs or to the mentors who created them. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own learning.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

We work to keep the Services available and accurate, but they are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, StuTem Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the Services after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Uttar Pradesh, India.
